It allows to get the antenna pointed in the optimum position

It allows to get the antenna pointed in the optimum position. Now I am wondering why the omnidirectional antenna on my camper pulls in a better signal then my outside pole mounted directional antenna.

I ordered another for my Daughters home

For a first time production line I think it's a great product. The box could be sturdier.
To address a couple points I had seen on reviews: The signal meter is displayed on your TV with the strength of each channel individually. To keep the display up just hit the info button twice.
Someone mentioned the difference in signal by moving the antenna six inches. In the Seattle area the 3 big broadcast towers are withing a few blocks of each other. I'm 27 miles away (as the crows fly) and sitting in a valley behind a few hills; my signal from one to another channel is different by 7 points on the meter. Moving the antenna, even a little, doesn't improve any of them. The problem is everything else between me and the towers.
This meter allows me to chose the best reception possible in an area where most people gave up on antennas without any guessing.

Disappointed that a monitor is required to adjust the antenna

Disappointed that a monitor is required to adjust the antenna. Our antenna (using a Tablo) is not in the same room (or floor) as our TV. We had the impression that the unit had a meter indicating signal strength.

Does the trick but....

Wanted to give it 5 stars but there were a couple of issues with the unit. The pros: it does what you want it to do so I was able to locate exact the spot where my indoor antenna would receive the best signal. Who would have thought that 6 inches to the left or right made that much of a difference but it does. The menu was easy to navigate and and scan like I needed to. The cons: its cheaply made and its quite flimsy. I wasnt able to lock in the antenna to "on" as it kept switching off. I think the instructions could be improved for those who are not so tech savy. Also, if you have a wall mounted TV on an interior wall, you either have to remote in on a laptop, have a separate smaller TV that is portable, or have a long coaxial cable to monitor the signal and move the antenna around. Yes, all minor but still wanted to mention (hence the 4 stars and not 5).

So far it works great

So far it works great. The channel signals seem to be stronger. I'm looking forward to checking out the other features. So my ota channels can be accessed through ROKU like before, can the TV antennae cable be plugged in from the unit to the TV?

Why I Built This Meter

Hey, Tyler here — also known as the Antenna Man. For years, I’ve helped millions of people cut the cord and get free TV with just an antenna. But there’s always been one frustrating part: finding the best signal.

Too many people give up because their antenna isn’t pointed in the right direction — or they waste hours scanning, rescanning, and still miss out on channels they should be getting.

So I decided to fix that. I built a signal meter that actually works — something I wish everyone had when setting up their antenna. My dream? Help even more people cut the cord for good… and actually enjoy free TV the way it’s meant to be.

My mission stays the same: to help people cut the cord — and I truly believe this product will help even more of you do just that.

Let’s Clear Things Up

What does the signal meter actually do?

It shows you the real-time signal strength from your antenna, so you can adjust it and instantly see which direction gives you the best reception — no more rescanning or guessing.

Will it help me get more channels?

Yes — when your antenna is pointed in the optimal direction, you can often pick up channels you weren’t getting before. That’s what this tool is designed to help with.

Is it hard to use?

Not at all. Just plug it in between your TV and antenna. That’s it. Plus, every order comes with instructions and a full video tutorial where I walk you through how to set it up and use it properly.

Do I need to buy anything else for it to work?

Nope. If you already have a TV and an antenna, you’re good to go. Just connect the signal meter in between, and you’re all set.

Will this work with all antennas?

It works with most antennas that connect via coaxial cable — which is the standard type used for over-the-air TV.

What if I have questions or need help?

I’ve got you covered. The setup video answers most common questions, but if you’re stuck, just reach out via email — I’m here to help.
